The silence rests in the dark at last.
Where colors fade,
Where the whisper subsides and drowns,
There the gaze laid.
The cramps of awakening unleash the space.
It seems like this is the very first time, the very beginning.
On the wall there is her glimmering face.
The time for grateful harvest is coming
And now there is light around.

The organ poem Vers la Lumière, Toward the Light is a metaphorical musical movement from confusion to clarity, transparency and light. It's
a sound fiction in the form of an improvisational poem for a large organ.

In a sense, this is a reflection of Yuri Vinogradov's era of self-isolation which began long before the pandemic and will not end with it. This isolation is a long and even adventurous journey to crystal serenity which is possible only as a moment and a gift. As Yuri Vinogradov supposes the large organ is the most appropriate instrument for a poetic statement. Every thought can be metaphysical and abstract in its strangeness, homelessness and freedom when the organ sounds.
In other words, this is the inner life of the Parmenid's Unity, emanating with tones, colors and eidos, seen through the prism of improvisational music.

Vers la Lumière continues the Yuri Vinogradov's line of improvisational poems for organ that began in 2017 with Le Soleil Noir.
